Will Eyelash Extensions Affect The Health Of My Own Natural Lashes?
This is often a very commonly asked question amongst 2 groups of people. The first group are ladies who have never done eyelash extensions before, and is always afraid to try. The second group are ladies who have done it before, but had a not-so-great experience.
In short, eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes if applied correctly. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and will not ruin the health of your natural lashes. If lashes are applied properly and to each individual lash, they won’t fall out. Since each lash extension is attached to a single eyelash, they will naturally fall out with your natural growth cycle of your lashes.
Many don’t realize that applying eyelash extensions is a form of art by itself. There’s never a one-size-fits-all type of eyelash extension, and in fact it should be catered to the individual based on numerous factors, which is why we call our eyelash extension services LashCraft. Some of these factors include the weight, length and curl of the eyelash used. Lashes that are too heavy, or clusters (pre-made fan) tends to have a larger amount of adhesive used, which may cause your natural lashes to break.
But of course, YOU will also have a part to play in the health of your lashes. Here at DR. LASH, we provide after-care kits and simple guidelines to teach you how to prevent premature lash loss and even damage to your eyelashes. Some of these simple guidelines involve not rubbing, tugging or pulling on your extensions.
The reason why we call ourselves DR. LASH is because we believe in not just looking good, but feeling good. The health of one’s eyelashes are our priority, which is why we have signature treatments like Lash Rejuvenation, aimed at treating your lashes from it’s roots, to grow your own natural lashes healthily, and filling the gaps with eyelash extensions, only when our therapists find that you’re ready.
